Mangaluru, Oct 10, 2019: Administrative Service is a challenging job, but nothing is really tough when there is diligence and great leadership qualities. Sindhu B Rupesh who recently took charge as Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district, is one such officer of calibre  for whom the call of duty is above everything else.

That she is the second woman to be appointed to the top post in the district is also something to cheer about. An IAS officer of the 2011 batch, Sindhu was the 17th rank holder in the civil services examination at the national level and topper from Karnataka.
