Mangaluru, May 31, 2023: A woman named Shabana has lodged a complaint at the Pandeshwar police station accusing her husband of divorcing her by pronouncing triple talaq.
The woman in her complaint stated that her husband Mohammad Hussain, a vegetable vendor had assaulted her, demanded money and threw her and her two kids out of the house after pronouncing triple talaq. Shabana also said Mohammad forced her to undergo abortion.
It has been alleged that Mohammad had two children from a previous marriage and had even divorced his first wife in a similar manner.
It has also been alleged that Mohammad had at the time of marriage had forced Shabana to bring Rs 10 lakh cash and jewellery.
