Mangaluru, December 12, 2025: Illegal cattle slaughter continues unabated in Mangaluru. In an incident reported from Kenjar, cattle that were let out for grazing were allegedly stolen and slaughtered illegally.
Three cattle carcasses were found at the spot where the slaughter took place. The miscreants are said to have slaughtered the cattle near the riverbank and dumped the remains there. There is suspicion that several cattle may have been slaughtered in the area so far.
The surroundings were filled with decomposed and foul-smelling waste. Hindu activists and Bajpe police personnel visited the spot. Police gathered information from local residents who had lost their cattle. A case has been registered in this connection at the Bajpe police station.
