Mangaluru: Four members of a family from Mysuru commit suicide in a lodge

Mangaluru, Mar 31, 2023: Four members of a family from Mysuru have reportedly committed suicide at a lodge at K S Rao Road in Mangaluru. The incident came to light on the morning of March 31, Friday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The deceased are Devendra (48), Nirmala (38) and twin daughters Chaitra and Chaitanya, both 9 years old. The family from Vijaynagar in Mysuru had  taken the room on March 27 and had informed that they will vacate the room on March 30.

However, none of them had come out of the room leading to suspicion. If the man was found hanging, the wife and two kids were found dead in a sleeping position. A death note has been found in which financial problem has been cited as the reason for this drastic step.

Bunder Police are investigating the case.
