Quarrel between friends turns fatal: Kerala worker stabbed to death in Byndoor

Byndoor, Sept. 4, 2025: A quarrel between two alcohol-addicted friends ended in murder late Saturday night at Devaragadde near Kosalli in Yadtare village of Byndoor taluk.

The victim has been identified as Bino Philip (45), a native of Kerala and a rubber tapper by profession. The accused, Uday, had also been working with him for the past two years in the rubber plantation owned by Thomas, a resident of Thoodalli Devaragadde. According to sources, the duo frequently quarreled after consuming alcohol.

On Saturday night, yet another altercation broke out between them, during which Uday allegedly attacked Bino with a rubber tapping knife. Bino sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot, police said.

Kundapur DySP H.D. Kulkarni and Byndoor police inspected the scene. A case has been registered at Byndoor police station.
