Indonesian volcano and New Zealand earthquake: Dr Arunachalam Kumar’s prediction comes true

Mangalore, September 6,  2010: Believe it or not! No chance! One has to believe this. Two ‘predictions’  by Dr Arunachalam Kumar, well-known Mangalorean academic and Dean of KS Hegde Medical Academy, Derlakatte, on a volcanic eruption and earthquake have turned out absolutely true.

On August 20, 2010, Dr Arunachalam Kumar had received an e-mail mentioning of mass stranding of whales off the coast and the mailer had queried the professor on the possible outcome of this event. Dr. Kumar, who has espoused the theory that unexplained whale deaths are linked to natural disasters over the years and has been proved to be spot-on in the accuracy of his forecasts, in his reply said that the incident was prelude to eruption of a volcano in Indonesia within seven days and an earthquake would follow within two weeks.

Both ‘predictions’, based on the observations of Dr. Kumar on changes in whale behavior, have turned out absolutely right. On 29th August Mt. Sinabung, a long dormant volcano in Sumatra erupted suddenly forcing the flight of thousands of people in its vicinity. On 4th September, Christchurch, New Zealand was rocked by one of the most powerful earthquakes in its history.

 

 

The two catastrophic events occurred exactly as and when the professor said they would. The prophetic email and its prognostic message, is already creating waves on the internet and electronic media in India and abroad.

Mangaloreans may recollect that Dr Arunachalam Kumar had in December 2004 ‘predicted’ the coming of the titanic Asian tsunami a full three weeks before it struck, killing one hundred and fifty thousand people.
