July 21, 2022: A video that has gone viral on social media shows passengers’ close encounter with death. It shows a woman and other passengers crossing the railway track just seconds before the arrival of a train on another track.

The train stood in the middle of nowhere and there was no railway platform in the vicinity. However, not just the woman and her family but several others chose to get off the train and attempted to cross the track. IAS officer Awanish Sharan shared the video with a million-dollar word of advice. This dangerous stunt could have cost one of the passengers his life. The video was shared on Twitter and it has over 1 lakh likes.

In the now-viral video, a woman was seen getting down from a train that wasn’t stationed on any railway platform.

It was in the middle of nowhere. Not just her, but she had an elderly woman and several others as company and everyone followed suit. The person who was recording the video informed them of an approaching train which created a state of panic amongst them. They started throwing luggage to the other side of the track and there was absolute chaos. If you watch the video closely, you will realise that this could have turned fatal for any of the passengers.

Netizens did not encourage such kind of reckless behaviour. They chided the passengers, especially the woman, who could have even lost her life.
