Uppinangady: Man booked for allegedly sexually harassing 16-year-old girl

Uppinangady, January 6, 2026: A complaint has been lodged with the Uppinangady police against a man named Chandrashekhar, alleging that he tried to harass a 16-year-old girl from Nelyadi village while she was going out of town.
According to reports, the girl’s father filed the complaint, stating that the incident occurred when she was attending a local festival. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
