Tulunada Rakshana Vedike demand justice to Bhavani murder case

Mangalore, Dec 2, 2013: The Shaktinagar unit of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike staged protest in front of DC Office on Dec 2, Monday demanding to arrest the real culprit of Bhavani murder case of Shaktinagar Karmika colony recently.

Addressing the protestors, Tulunada Rakshana Vedike president Yogish Kumar Jeppu said that although Bhavani was murdered a month back, the police department have not made any effort to arrest the murderers or conducted any investigation in this regard.

M G Hegde, chief spokesperson of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike said that the investigation is getting delayed due to the interference of few elected representatives. Ever since the incident occurred, the residents of Shaktinagar areas are living in fear. Drug peddlers have also increased in the Shaktinagar area.

He said that if the any murder takes place, the organizations will hold protests to compete with each other, but in this case no organization have shown interest in demanding justice. If the department does not solve the case as soon as possible, then the units of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike will hold district-wide protest in the coming days.

Former corporator Azeez, Jyothika Jain, Razik Ullal, Rakshith Shetty and others were present.
