The minister had this morning inspected the fish market, the central market, and the meat market. He also interacted with street vendors near the city bus stand. He urged fruit, vegetable, and meat vendors to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings and not to dump waste in public places. He also advised them not to create any sanitation problem within the city.

In response to journalists’ queries regarding the fate of the evicted street vendors, he said that the MCC and the district administration will resolve the issue as early as possible. He added that alternative arrangements will be made for the street vendors during this meeting, in the presence of the DC and the MCC commissioner.
