Tipper Lorry Hits Two-Wheeler, Rider Killed in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 12, 2026: A 29-year-old rider was killed in a road accident on Saturday night after a tipper lorry collided with a two-wheeler on the Nantoor–Pumpwell service road of National Highway 66.
The deceased has been identified as Gopal (29), who is reported to have died on the spot due to the impact of the collision.
Gopal was employed at a bakery in Gurupura and was residing near Mulihithlu, sources said.
In the incident, another two-wheeler was also damaged, and its rider sustained injuries. Traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
