On September 14, workers were brought to the house for electrical wiring work. According to the complaint, Maddadka resident Farooq had brought Ashraf of Kudradka and Sulaiman of Shirlalu to carry out the work. Naufal’s younger brother Mohammed Naushad was also present at the house at the time.

When Naufal returned home with his family at around 8.30 pm that night, they noticed that a box containing gold jewellery kept inside a bedroom cupboard was missing.
