Case Registered Against Hall Owners for Traffic Obstruction in Ganjimutt

Mangaluru, April 12, 2026: The Bajpe Police have registered a case against the owners and organisers of Royal Palace and Vondela Hall at Ganjimutt for allegedly causing obstruction to vehicular movement on Sunday.
According to Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy CH, the incident occurred between 12 noon and 2 pm near Muchur Cross in Ganjimutt. The halls had reportedly been rented out for a marriage function without adequate parking arrangements.
As a result, vehicles were parked along National Highway 169, leading to severe traffic congestion and disruption of smooth vehicular movement in the area.
The situation caused significant inconvenience to the public, police said, adding that further action is being taken in the matter.
