Novena prayers inaugurated at St Lawrence Bascilica, Attur

Karkala, Jan 15, 2024: The novena prayers ahead of the Annual Feast of St Lawrence Basilica at Attur in Karkala, were inaugurated on January 14, Sunday. Nitte Gram Panchayat Vice President Nithin Salian inaugurated the Novena by lighting the lamp.

The statue of St Sebastian was brought in a procession and blessed on the occasion. Fr Cyril Lobo, Director of Divya Jyothi was the main celebrant of the Holy Eucharistic celebration. Panchayat Member Rajesh. St Lawrence Bascilica, Attur Director Fr Alban D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest Fr Larry Pinto, Spiritual Director Fr Roman Mascrenhas and others were present.

The annual feast will be celebrated from January 21 to 26.
