Mulki: Daughters booked for harassing elderly mother, assaulting maid

Mulki, Jun 12, 2025: A case has been registered in Mulki police station against two women for constant harassment of their mother as well as assaulting the latter’s maid over the issue of property.

As per the complaint lodged, the accused Sandrella Bangera and Anitha have been harassing their 87 year old mother Manorama Henry and have also attacked her maid Neelamma.

Harrasement

Manorama has been residing in the property of her share after distributing rest of her property among two daughters. However, they were still harassing her despite local church leaders advising them against troubling their mother.

The complaint lodged has alleged that Manorama and her maid Neelamma are facing threat to their lives.

Further investigations are underway.

Manorama is a former Mahila Congress leader of Mulki.
