Kundapur: Government bus–tipper collision leaves several injured, including three students

Udupi, Jan 6, 2026: Several people, including three college students, sustained serious injuries in a horrific accident involving a government bus and a tipper at Shetrakatte turn on the Tallur–Neralakatte road, under the jurisdiction of the rural police station, on Monday evening.
The accident occurred when a government bus travelling from Kundapur towards Aji–Siddapur collided with a tipper carrying soil from Neralakatte towards Tallur. The impact of the collision left multiple passengers injured, with at least three students reported to be in a serious condition.
The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Further details regarding the condition of the victims and the exact cause of the accident are awaited.
