KSRTC Bus Rams Sasthan Toll Gate, 13 Injured in Udupi

Udupi, Aug 24, 2025: Thirteen passengers were injured when a KSRTC bus from Ilkal to Mangaluru rammed into the Sasthan toll gate around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said the accident occurred after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The bus was carrying 36 passengers, of whom 12 sustained minor injuries while one woman was critically hurt.
The injured were shifted to private hospitals and the Brahmavar taluk hospital with the assistance of Jeevan Mitra ambulance services and fellow passengers.
Kota police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, and registered a case.
