Ullal man found dead at old port area; police suspect murder

Mangalore, Dec 3, 2013: A person was found dead at the Bunder Old Port in Mangalore on December 3, Tuesday. Police suspect this to be a case of murder as injury marks were found on the head of the man.

The deceased has been identified as Haneef(45), of Kotepura in Ullal. He is said to be a boat worker. It is learnt, his body was found outside a shop opposite to the jetty where boats are harboured. Nearby shopkeepers informed that they often saw the man loitering in the vicinity.

Pandeshwar police are conducting the investigations.
