Mangaluru, November 12, 2024: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, 9th November 2024 - Day 3 of Synergia 2024 saw an exciting series of events, with standout moments ranging from SSTH to an exhilarating air show and a successful HackNight Hackathon, Panel discussion and valedictory ceremony.

 The HackNight Hackathon, organized by the Sahyadri Open Source Community (SOSC), brought together a diverse group of participants, with female developers comprising 40% of the teams. Mentors from leading companies such as Amrth Shenava (Flashmates), Abhishek Poojary and Jaison Dias (Niveus Solutions), Anish Shobith P S, Athul Ariga (Illumifin Bangalore), and Samrath Sudesh Acharya (KPMG) provided essential guidance in coding, project development, and problem-solving. The event was judged by industry experts including Pranav Durai (Stanford University), Mahesh Nayak U (Tiny Prism Labs), and Sankarasubbu A (Infosys), whose feedback helped participants refine their projects and explore new possibilities in technology

The day also featured an insightful panel discussion moderated by CEO Mr. Johnson. The panel included distinguished guests such as Mr. Govindraj, a leader in space exploration; Ms. Padma Sri Alva, Director at MResults; Mr. Srikanth Arimanithaya from Machani Group; and Mr. Sumith Chauhan from Mphasis Foundation. The discussion provided students with valuable guidance and inspiration on topics ranging from space exploration to leadership, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.

The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony that celebrated the achievements of students and their potential to shape the future. Mr. Govindraj, a leader in space exploration, shared insights that sparked enthusiasm among budding scientists. He congratulated students on their innovations, urging them to explore space research and participate in upcoming missions like Gaganyaan, Chandrayaan-4, and the Venus mission. The speaker emphasized India’s bright future, inspiring students to pursue their dreams. Ms. Padma Sri Alwa, Director at MResults, encouraged students to think boldly and lead with purpose. Mr. Srikanth Arimanithaya from Machani Group and Mr. Sumith Chauhan from Mphasis Foundation motivated students with their expertise in entrepreneurship and social responsibility. Lastly, Mr. Santosh Rodriguez’s global experiences offered valuable lessons in leadership.

The event concluded with the prize distribution. Mr. Johnson, CEO of Sahyadri, honored winners, extending gratitude to Mphasis Foundation and sponsors for supporting the event. Projects from various regions were acknowledged, with special recognition for outstanding contributions.

The event celebrated the talent and efforts of all participants, encouraging them to continue developing their projects with support from the institution.
