MANGALORE, Jan 18, 2012: “The Almighty will definitely shower his choicest blessings on us if we worship him with all devotion, fervor and sincerity,” said Srimad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji, the senior pontiff of the Sri Kashi Mutt.

The seer was giving his blessings at a religious meet organized at the Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet in Mangalore on January 16, Monday, consequent upon the re-consecration (Punar Pratishtapana) of the sacred deities including the presiding deity Sri Veera Venkatesha at the Temple. “The renovated temple with magnificent art works should be maintained  with utmost care  and a greater responsibility in this regard is on the shoulders of the members of the Samaj,” the seer said added   there should be  strict discipline, and adherence to religious practices at the renovated shrine.

 

“Greediness always does harm to an individual and his near and dear ones, while a  liberal and helpful man will always enjoy the blessings of the Almighty and lead a happy life,” the seer observed and wished happiness and prosperity to all those who joined hands in the renovation of the temple by spending their valuable time.

Srimad Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji, the junior pontiff of the Kashi Mutt, also blessed the occasion. P Dayananda Pai, entrepreneur and Honorary President of the Renovation Committee, said the temple could be renovated in a short span of time and today stands majestically, due to the blessings of the Lord and the Swamiji of the Kashi Mutt.

All kind hearted donors who had contributed liberally towards the renovation of the temple were felicitated on the occasion.  Those felicitated include Dr  Dayananda Pai  and P Satish Pai entrepreneurs, B Ganapathi Pai and family of Bharath Beedies, Shibaroor Prabhakar Kamath and Mukund Kamath of Ideal Ice Cream, P Keshav Bhandari and P Gayatri Bhandari of School Book Company and  Gujjadi Ramdas Nayak of Swarna Jewellers,Udupi.

C.L. Shenoy, Madhav Kamath, Nityananda Nayak, Managing Trustees of the Venkatramana Temple,  Padmanabha Pai, President of the Committee, Satish Nayak, Secretary,  Venkatesh Pai, engineer, Jagannath Kamath, P Satish Pai, T Ganapathi Pai, Radhakrishna Shenoy,Bhadragiri Achyut Das, Pandit Upendra Bhat and others were present on the occasion.
