Rider dies as lorry rams into bike near Panemangaluru

Bantwal, September 24, 2023: In a tragic incident on the morning of Sunday, September 24th, a fatal accident unfolded as a bicyclist collided with a gravel-carrying lorry at the newly constructed bridge in Panemangaluru.
The victim has been identified as Raj Kumar, son of Vasudeva Maiya, a resident of Sajeepa Benkya.
This heartbreaking incident occurred during Raj Kumar’s journey back home to Sajeepa from Vamadapadavu. A lorry belonging to Pavitra Construction, traveling in the opposite direction, collided with his bicycle.
The collision resulted in grave injuries to Raj Kumar, who was promptly transported to the hospital. Regrettably, he lost his life due to the severity of his injuries during the transit.
The Melkar traffic police have initiated a case in connection with this tragic accident.
