Puttur, May 21, 2025: A auto-rickshaw accident occurred in Puttur when the driver lost control and the vehicle collided with an electric pole and overturned. Fortunately, the auto-rickshaw driver escaped with only minor injuries.
The incident took place around 10:30 PM last night. The auto-rickshaw, which was coming from the Parpunja area, overturned at Kallarpade in Aryapu village after the driver lost control. The overturned vehicle hit a nearby electric pole and rolled over.
As a result of the impact, the electrical wires came into contact with each other, causing sparks. The electric pole tilted slightly due to the collision. Luckily, the auto-rickshaw driver narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation.
