Mangaluru, Mar 28, 2023: Annual day celebration–‘DAKSH 2023’ of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, a Constituent College of Nitte (Deemed to be University) was held on 24th March 2023 at K S Hegde Medical Academy auditorium. The Chief Guest of this program was Mrs. Biji S Wasim, Chief Nursing Manager, KMC Hospital Mangaluru, who emphasized in her address the need for growth in professional life.

 

 

 

Prof. Dr. M S Moodithaya, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) Mangaluru, presided over the function, in his address insisted on the importance of hard work, credibility and student role in being good ambassadors to bring fame to Alma Matter. The President of the function applauded the Principal and the faculty of NUINS for their constant efforts in implementing new action plans to uplift the standard of the organization.

The program began with lighting the lamp, Prof Dr. Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal, NUINS welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. Fatima Dsilva presented the annual report of the college. The college magazine ‘DEEKSHA’ was released by the guests during the program.

Mrs. Melba Drago, Faculty NUINS, compered the program. Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal School of Nursing proposed the vote of thanks. After the formal program, students of the college demonstrated their talents with the cultural program.
