Mangaluru, Nov 5, 2025: A fake Facebook account has been created in the name of the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner.
According to City Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy, miscreants created a fake Facebook account using his name. The fake profile reportedly features a photo of him sitting in his office and a wallpaper from the recent commissioner handover ceremony.
He clarified that the account is the work of cyber fraudsters, and an investigation is underway to trace the culprits. The Commissioner has also urged the public to remain cautious and avoid engaging with the fake profile.
