Mangalore University declares sixth semester UG results; online tabulation speeds up processing

Mangaluru, July 30, 2026: Mangalore University has announced the results of the sixth semester examinations for all undergraduate courses and the eighth semester examinations for the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) programme conducted during June–July 2026.

Out of 17,347 students who appeared for the examinations, the results of 17,076 students have been declared. The results of 261 students have been withheld temporarily due to technical reasons.

Students can access their results by logging into the University Unified Campus Management System (UUCMS) portal using their login credentials.

Vice-Chancellor said the results of the second and fourth semester undergraduate examinations, along with those of repeat students under the non-NEP programmes, will be announced shortly.

The Vice-Chancellor attributed the early declaration of results to the complete computerisation of the tabulation process through an online system at the evaluation centres. Since tabulation was carried out simultaneously with the valuation process, the university was able to publish the results in a much shorter time.

He also appreciated the coordinated efforts of custodians, coordinators, chairpersons of examination boards, evaluators, and the staff of the examination wing for completing the evaluation within the stipulated time, enabling the timely announcement of results.

The university will soon issue a notification on the UUCMS portal inviting applications for revaluation. Students wishing to apply for revaluation can do so by submitting the prescribed fee within the stipulated period, the Vice-Chancellor said.
