Mangalore:Kannada lifestyle magazine ‘Life 360’ released

Mangalore, Dec 11, 2013 : Life 360, a lifestyle Kannada fortnightly was released by senior Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhan Poojari at the Patrika Bhavan in Mangalore on December 10, Tuesday.

In his address, Poojari said media which was one of the strong pillars of the society should pinpoint the nuances in the society. The society can progress only when the media does justice to its role, he added.

Senior  journalist B Ganapathi who is the Editor of Life 360, in his address said journalism too has to undergo change in accordance to the changing times. It also faces the inevitability of responding to the aspirations of the younger generation, he observed.

He said Life 360 has been brought out with the youth in mind. While not compromising on quality we also have to respond to the demands of the market. For the very first time we have boldly released a fortnightly priced at Rs 50, he said.

PB Harish Rai, President of DK District Working Journalists Union, K Keshava Acharya, B Devadas Rai, professor, department of medicine, AJ Institute of Medical Sciences and others were present.
