Cooker bomb case : Accused Shariq received money from abroad, reveals probe

Mangaluru, Dec 1, 2022: Terror suspect Shariq who is presently in hospital after being responsible for the cooker bomb explosion in an autorickshaw near Nagori in the city on November 19 is presently recovering and is subject to interrogation by the police. During questioning it came to light that his accounts had received funds from abroad.

 

It has been learnt that Shariq had opened an account through dark web and  by converting the money he received from abroad into rupee, he used to transfer it to different accounts.

Police have also received information that he had credited amount to the bank accounts of many in Mysuru. Accordingly over 40 people have been questioned in Mysuru.

Presently three teams of NIA have arrived in Mangaluru for higher prohe into the cooker bomb blast case.
