Uppinangady: Fire catches at a Shop in Prithvi Commercial Complex

Puttur, June 22, 2024: On Friday night, a fire broke out in a fancy store within Prithvi Commercial Complex in Uppinangady Market, completely engulfing the shop and spreading to some nearby stores, causing damage.
This incident occurred while the shop owners had closed their stores and gone home for the night.
Local residents reported that smoke was first seen coming from the fancy store, followed by the fire spreading.
The fire department has arrived and is currently conducting firefighting operations.
Local residents have gathered at the scene. It is believed that the incident was caused by a short circuit.
