Uppinangady: Bike rider seriously injured in head-on collision with car

Uppinangady, December 12, 2025: A bike rider sustained serious injuries after a head-on collision between a car and a bike at Nekkilady on the night of December 11.
The injured has been identified as Badruddin, a resident of Math.
Badruddin was reportedly working at a hotel in Kootelu. The accident occurred when he was travelling on the wrong side of the four-lane national highway from Uppinangady towards Nekkilady, and a car coming from the Uppinangady side collided with his bike.
After receiving initial treatment at Puttur Hospital, the seriously injured Badruddin was shifted to Mangaluru for advanced care.
