Suicide: Body of bank employee recovered

 Udupi, Mar 27, 2013 : The body of a bank employee named B Ananthakrishna, who had reportedly committed suicide on March 25, Monday by jumping into River Swarna, has been retrieved at Keelinje in Havanje  on March 26, Tuesday.

The deceased who worked for a bank in Manipal, had jumped off the Kalianpur bridge into the river, after parking his two-wheeler nearby and abandoning his footwear. He had also left behind a suicide note stating he himself was responsible for his death.

The exact reason that prompted him to take the extreme step is not known.
