New Delhi, Oct 11, 2026: India on Sunday strongly condemned the missile strike on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that reportedly killed 12 people and injured more than 300, calling repeated attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure “completely unacceptable”.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs condemned repeated attacks on the airport in recent days, including the October 10 strike, which caused casualties and property damage.

“The repeated attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure are completely unacceptable and must cease immediately,” the ministry said, expressing solidarity with the people and government of Saudi Arabia in defending the country’s sovereignty. India also voiced hope for an early return to peace and normalcy in the region.
The missile reportedly struck the airport complex housing terminals 3 and 4, which serve domestic flights. The victims included Saudi nationals and citizens of Bangladesh, Palestine, the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Sudan.
A Saudi-led coalition blamed Iran-backed Houthi rebels in neighbouring Yemen for the attack. The strike was reportedly the third targeting the airport in a week and the deadliest on Saudi soil in more than a decade.
The Houthis have intensified attacks on Saudi Arabia, targeting airports, oil facilities and tankers following the collapse of a truce in their long-running conflict with Yemen’s Saudi-backed government in July.
