Mangalore, March 27, 2013 : A senior citizen was killed while a woman sustained critical injuries in a road mishap near the Sacred Heart School, Kulshekhar on March 27, Wednesday morning.The  accident occurred when a speeding Maruti Omni van knocked down the two pedestrians.

The deceased has been identified as Albert Consessao (60), a resident of Kulshekhar. The identity of the injured lady is yet to be known. She has been hospitalized and her condition is said to be critical.


Kankanady rural police have rushed to the spot.
