Private Bus Crashes into KSRTC Compound Wall in Vittal; 10 Injured

Mangaluru, Aug 3, 2025: At least ten passengers were injured after a private bus crashed into the compound wall of the KSRTC bus stand in Vittal on Saturday.
The bus, operating on the interstate route between Kalladka and Kanhangad, was heading towards Kanyana from the Vittal private bus stand when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle near the KSRTC premises in Vittal Kasaba village, Bantwal taluk.
The impact of the crash left several passengers injured, who were subsequently referred to the Vittal Government Hospital for treatment. The driver and conductor also sustained minor injuries.
A case has been registered at the Vittal Police Station under Sections 281 and 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
