Pejawar Seer goes down 40 feet deep well to rescue a kitten

Udupi, June 19, 2023: Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt on June 18, Sunday went down a 40 feet deep well to rescue a kitten which had fallen into the well. The seer who is known for his love for animals, has won all praise for his humanitarian act.

 

 

The Swamiji had arrived at the Subrahmanya Muchlugodu Temple from Chennai on Sunday afternoon. It was then he came to know from the temple staff that a kitten had fallen into the well.

The seer immediately went near the well and tried to get the cat out with the help of a bucket. But, when it did not yield any result, he himself entered the well with a rope tied firmly around his waist. Deep inside the well though the seer managed to place the cat inside the bucket, the animal out of fear jumped out and sat on one edge of the well. Later, the seer took the cat by his hand and managed to come up.
