Mr. Muthalik claimed that, according to records, Bababudan’s mausoleum was 7 kms away from Bababudangiri/Datta Peetha, in Nagenahalli village on Kadur Road. The records also show that the location of Bababundangiri/Datta Peetha was called Imam Dattatreya Peetha. Shifting the mausoleum to Nagenahalli would peacefully solve the issue, said Mr. Muthalik.

Mr. Muthalik also said the Sri Rama Sene will play an important part in the protest against the 1,015 MW coal-based thermal power plant at Yellur, Udupi. A meeting regarding this issue will be held on November 11, in which members of Sri Rama Sene, environmentalists, leaders of the Nagarjuna Virodhi Horata Samiti, and Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Matt will participate.
