Mulki: Man dies by suicide on railway tracks at Indiranagar

Udupi, Oct 29, 2025: A man reportedly died by suicide by placing his head on the railway tracks at Indiranagar, Haleyangady, within the jurisdiction of Mulki Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhakar Shetty (55), a resident of Bailur in Karkala. The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
Upon receiving the information, Mulki Police arrived at the spot and conducted an inspection. Lifeguard team members Dawood, Prasad, and Mahesh rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the Mulki mortuary in a lifeguard ambulance.
