As per reports, Sanskriti left home around 9:30 a.m. to go to work. Just a few meters from her residence, a cement block fell from a nearby under-construction building and struck her head. She suffered severe injuries and collapsed in a pool of blood. Her father, Anil Amin, rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival.

The building, Shivkunj, is being constructed by a company named Shraddha Life Developers. According to locals, stones had fallen several times earlier from the same site, but no major incident had occurred until now. Residents alleged that the builders failed to implement any safety measures during construction.
