Mangaluru : Three houses damaged as compound wall of apartment complex collapses at Kodikal

Mangaluru, April 13, 2021:       A compound wall of an apartment complex at Kodikal collapsed during the heavy rains  of April 12  Monday night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the compound wall came crashing down, the houses   of three persons namely Devadas Bangera, Poornima and Mohandas Bangera  at Nadiguttu Compound suffered damages.

In Udupi district,  lightning struck a house  belonging to Nagaratna Bhujanga Shetty in  Brahmavar damaging the house. Several   domestic appliances and other equipment were damaged.

In Kemmannu, heavy rains uprooted a huge tree  resulting in disruption of vehicular  traffic.

The weather department has predicted rain in the coastal district during the next few days.
