Man arrested at MIA for smuggling gold worth Rs 61 lakhs

Mangaluru, Oct 12, 2023: A man was arrested at the Mangaluru International Airport on October 11, Wednesday for smuggling gold worth Rs 61,42,500.
The man had arrived by an Air India Express flight from Dubai and was in possession of 1,050 grams of gold in the form of paste.
