The man who stabbed the cow has been identified as Umarabb, who runs the churumuri stall. During festivals, he operates several churumuri stalls, and locals expressed outrage over the act of stabbing the cow with a knife. Later, locals provided first aid to the cow.

It has been reported that no one filed a police complaint about the incident. Bajrang Dal district leaders have demanded action against the accused. The Police Commissioner commented that the incident was accidental. Leaving a cow in a public area is an offense, so a case has been filed against its owner. A suo motu case has also been registered against the man who stabbed the cow for showing cruelty.
