Labourer killed as speeding lorry overturns near Konaje

Mangalore, Sep 30, 2013: A labourer of Bihar origin was killed and six others suffered injuries when a lorry loaded with interlock tiles overturned while negotiating a curve near the Mangalore University at Konaje on September 29, Sunday.

The deceased is Ram Breksahani (37). The others who were injured in the mishap are Devanand, Ganor Sahani, Abdul Majeed, Umesh Sahani, Kanaja Sahani and Ram Lala Sahani.

 Eyewitnesses said the lorry which heading towards Tokkottu from Pavoor was over speeding resulting in the mishap.

 Konaje police have registered a case.
