Kadri Cricketers Give Diwali Gifts to the Poor

Kadri Cricketers celebrated Diwali in a very meaningful manner by distributing rice to North Karnataka’s flood victims and poor families on October 17, Saturday.  

The cricketers organized a programme on Kadri grounds and invited District-in-charge Minister Krishna Palemar for the same. He joined the other guests in distributing 5kgs of rice to 335 families. The organization has also donated 1000 kgs of rice to the TV9 relief fund for the flood victims of Karnataka.  

A G Pai, the chief operations officer of the Mangalore Special Economic Zone; Suresh Ballal, former chairman of Mangalore Urban Development Authority; Niranjan Raje Aras, the police inspector in Mangalore East circle; Sharan Pumpwell, the convener of Bajrang Dal; and Manohar Shetty, the president of Kadri Cricketers, were present on the occasion.
