Suresh Atri, the master warrant officer of the local NCC Air Wing, welcomed the rally on the grounds of St. Aloysius College. Mysore, Varanasi, and Dehra Dun are the only cities in India that have IAF selection centres, owing to which Mysore is the only centre for South India.

The rally, which was flagged off at Mysore, first visited Bangalore. It will leave for Goal via Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bapatla, Chennai, Pondicherry, Rameshwaram, Kanniyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Coimbatore, after which it will return to Mysore. The rally plans to visit colleges on the way to motivate young people to join the Air Force and to give them information regarding recruitment.

The rally will also distribute informative literature and posters among the students and will convey the message that the Indian Air Force has plenty of opportunities for young people.
