Bantwal, July 30, 2017: District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Reddy has informed that each police station in the district will get a minimum of six additional personnel, taking the total number of additional personnel to be deputed to 100.He was speaking after hearing public grievances at a village meet of Bantwal Town police station limits held at Bantwal Rotary Club on Saturday. Two trainee SIs will be deputed in Bantwal town and rural police stations. A proposal has been submitted to the government to provide full-fledged police stations in Kalladka and Farangipete instead of the planned outposts," he said.
The traffic issues of Melkar, carrying more school children in autorickshaws by flouting rules and such other issues came up at the meeting.
Social worker Vishwanath Chendtimar, B K Idinabba and others highlighted various issues.
The SP said the beat police system will be implemented even in rural areas at the earliest .
Bantwal ASP Dr Arun, Town Inspector Rakshith Gowda, Probationary SIs Prasanna, Praveen Kumar and others were present .
