Yadgir, Aug 27, 2026: The Yadgir Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) has suspended two government school teachers, including a headmaster, for allegedly participating in a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) route march.
The suspended teachers have been identified as Annasaheb, headmaster of the Government Lower Primary School in Kuppi village of Surpur taluk, and Gururaj Joshi, a teacher at the Government Girls’ High School in Hunasagi.
According to reports, the two teachers allegedly participated in an RSS route march held in Talikoti, Vijayapura district, in November last year as part of the RSS centenary celebrations.
The suspensions have been ordered pending an inquiry into the allegations that the teachers participated in the route march.
