Chennaveera Kanavi to Preside Over Gulf Kannada Literary Convention

Dubai, Feb 23: Dhwani Prathistana will conduct the first ever ‘Gulf Kannada Kannada literary convention at Dubai Gem Private School Auditorium, Dubai, on Aril 23, 2010.
 
A press release here stated that the eminent senior poet Dr Chennaveera Kanavi has been elected to preside over the convention. The Scholars, writers, artistes and social personalities from different place of Karnataka and Gulf will participate in the function.
 
The convention will discuss the problems of Gulf Kannadigas and a poetic sessions followed by cultural programmes by famous artists of Karnataka. Entry will be free for all the kannadigas.
