Viral video: Kerala man cycles 7,000 km without front wheel to spread ‘no to drugs’ message

Mangalore Today News Network

New Delhi, Aug 19, 2026: A Kerala cyclist is on an unusual mission to spread an anti-drug message — by riding thousands of kilometres on a bicycle without a front wheel. Saneed, a professional bike stunt performer from Kerala, is travelling towards Nepal and aims to reach Everest Base Camp as part of his ‘Say No to Drugs’ campaign.

According to news agency ANI, Saneed has already covered more than 7,000 km during his current journey. “I completed a ride from Kerala to Kashmir without a front wheel, and now I am going from Kerala to Everest Base Camp," he said.

A civil engineering and interior designing graduate, Saneed said he has been performing bike stunts for around 12 years. He also trains the Indian Army for parade stunts, he said.

Saneed reportedly covers around 50 to 60 km every day, while his longest single-day ride has been 150 km. He said the distance depends largely on road conditions and the climate, with strong winds making the unusual balancing act particularly difficult.

“High winds in this region make balancing especially challenging," Saneed said, explaining that riding without a front wheel is significantly harder than normal cycling. His years of experience as a stunt performer, however, have helped him maintain his balance.

Internet Reacts

While Saneed’s message is about making healthy choices, the bizarre sight has left the internet struggling to understand the logic behind the stunt. One user jokingly asked, “BTW what’s wrong with having a front wheel in the bicycle?" Another pointed out the obvious, writing, “WHY? That thing is called a bi-cycle for a reason bro😭"

Some commenters took the joke even further, with one quipping, “Bro travelled without the front wheel just to confuse the people who take drugs and to divert their attention 🚬🫡" Another sarcastically wondered, “Bro, is he running this while high on drugs himself? 😂"

Others were less amused, raising concerns about the safety of the stunt. “He can probably think about his and others safety first," one user wrote. Another comment called the messaging “terrible", asking, “Who rides 11,000 kms without a front wheel unless they are on drugs?🙄" Another simply joked that “cycling without front wheel is the sign that this man took this decision when he was high."

But behind the internet’s jokes, Saneed says there is a serious purpose to the journey. He wants to spread the anti-drug message across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and other parts of India, particularly among youngsters.

“I want to spread the message to say no to drugs in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and all across India, to show people that you don’t need drugs to achieve something different — do what makes you happy and don’t ruin your life," he said.
