February 08, 2024: An aerial video capturing the mesmerising beauty of "India’s last road" in Tamil Nadu’s Dhanushkodi is doing the rounds of the internet. Shared by the official X page of the Government of India on February 6, the video captured by Thirumala Sanchari features the scenic beauty of Arichal Munai, the last road in southern India.
Dhanushkodi is a deserted town at the south-eastern tip of the Pamban Island in Tamil Nadu.

As the video garnered thousands of likes, social media users were truly impressed to see the ethereal beauty of the southernmost road of India.

Several users also posted pictures sharing their experiences of visiting the iconic site.
Ahead of the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arichal Munai on January 21. He paid floral tributes at the spot where Lord Ram is believed to have engineered a bridge to reach Lanka.
