Mangalore, November 14, 2025: Sri Vilas Kumar K. has been unanimously elected as President of the Dakshina Kannada Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association (DKATDA) during a special meeting of the Managing Committee held on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The meeting was convened to pay homage to the Association’s late President, Sri Kasturi Prabhakar Pai, and to elect a successor to the post left vacant by his demise.

Vilas Kumar K. is the Managing Partner of Automark and Rollmark, leading wholesale dealerships in automobile spare parts and accessories. He has been actively involved in the Association’s activities for over two decades and has served as its Secretary since 2013.

The newly constituted team of office bearers includes Harsha Kumar Kedige (Vice President), Maroor Shashidhar Pai (Secretary), Athmika Amin (Joint Secretary), Prasanna K. R. (Treasurer), K. Laxminarayan Nayak (Joint Treasurer) and T. Ratnakar Pai (Special Invitee).

The meeting began with members offering rich tributes to late Sri Kasturi Prabhakar Pai, recalling his distinguished service and steadfast leadership of the Association for over three decades. The office bearers later visited the bereaved family to personally convey their heartfelt condolences and express their deep sense of loss.
