Udupi, May 30, 2024: Uppur Panchayat Development Officer Inayatullah Baig and Bill collector Sanjay have been trapped by the Lokayukta while accepting bribe for providing land records.

The Lokayukta sleuths swooped in when the two were receiving bribe from a person named Ravi. The operation was led by Lokayukta DySP K C Prakash.

Both the arrested have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody till June 12.
